Belated Puththaandu Nal Vazhththukkal!!!

Everytime when there is a pandigai at home, I call my mom or mother-in-law and ask about the things I need to do on that day... be it menus or puja.. ..
I used to always think that I should make a note of it somewhere, instead of taking away their time.. (u know - my mother-in-law , esp my mom -- they r too bc round the clock.. esp when I call, when they r in the kitchen - they would reply - 'vera yenna - sari appuram pesu.. ' ... ). So thought would create a blog so it would be helpful for others too like me...

Isnt it nice to know all these customs and traditions.. esp when you have a little one and when you want them to know......

Let me start with Tamil New Year... which pops up mid April...
